Condos (Our Recommendation)
Within walking distance to the reception and ceremony site on the ocean with ocean views, inside the Beachtown community, are two large condo complexes. The Galvestonian and Islander East. The Galvestonian condos are closest to the wedding and reception venue. They are privately owned, so every condo is different. Bride, Groom and fam are staying at:

"Perfectly Beachy - #100" on the first floor, from June 13 - 16, 2019. There are one-bedroom condos and up to five-bedroom condos at The Galvestonian. Just let Lisa know what you're looking for.

Take a look at The Galvestonian. *This is the closest condo option to the venue if you are concerned about mobility.

Take a look at Islander East.

Beachtown Beach House
If you'd like to join forces with each other and rent a beachhouse or townhome in Beachtown, you can save some cash that way! Pricier, but closest option to the venue. Lisa can help, just let her know what you need.

Hotels

If you'd prefer a hotel, the closest three are all on the Seawall, across from the ocean. Lisa McNamara can also help you book hotel. Here are the closest hotel options in order of proximity to the venue:

The Best Western Plus
An all suite hotel. We have never stayed here, but this is the closest hotel to Beachtown. Located on the Seawall, across from the ocean. Complimentary breakfast and in-room refrigerator. 

Homewood Suites
We stayed here recently due to its proximity to Beachtown. Beautiful hotel. Great Mon - Thur happy hour with free food, and free wine and beer. It includes a hot breakfast buffet every morning. Its amenities make it a great value. It is across the street from an RV Park.

Doubletree Hotel
The priciest and nicest option of the closest hotels, with the best views of the ocean. The Longboard is our favorite bar on the island due to its Tiki Bar look and friendly staff. It has a nice lawn, beautiful pool, and free bikes to ride around the island.

The Hotel Galvez  - our favorite. The bar, pool, and restaurant are awesome.

The San Luis Resort - if you’re looking for a resort-like vacay, this is it! The Steakhouse restaurant is amazing.

Pricier hotels in downtown Galveston include:

The Tremont - On the strand downtown. Don't miss the Rooftop Bar!

The Harbor House Hotel - On the Pier downtown. Contemporary, modern small inn, owned by Wyndham. Gives you rights to Galvez's pool and parking.
